Default Porsche 944 w/5.3 & LS1 intake

I'm reading up on the TR220 cam for this 5.3 here and TB porting. You guys know some ****. I wonder how the cam would work with the 5 speed since I don't have a Torque converter and runnining a lightweight Fidanza flywheel and clutch? Also I am knocking down 30mpg's with this 5.3L motor over the reported 25 mpg's from the LS1 swapped 944's...Any thoughts?

Also I was thinking about the 4.8 pistons in the 5.3 .....All ideas greatly appreciated.....

Here's the 5.3l street menace that I built.....

The tr220 is a nice cam. Usually the guys with manuals can get away with runnig larger cams. So that is something to think about. Also the extra compression will be nice with the 4.8 pistons.
