Default ported 241's on a lq4?

found a good deal on some ported 241's and wanted to know if the chamber size with mine being 4.00 in bore and the 241's being 3.9 would that work if so would it be worth the swap would be doing a ms4 at the same time ?

I was recommended against ported 241s in favor of 243s or 317s. Better combustion chamber design on the latter I believe

243s are what i have on my 370 now..in all honesty id go with a 317 head and have them milled .040 and still be around the same compression as the 241 head..but yet since the ones hes wanting to buy are ported..might be best to go with them

that's a lot of flow for a 241. I'd like to see that verified with a flow sheet.

Well, the nice thing about non milled 243s is no worry about PTV clearance. He's got an LQ4, stock 64.45cc 243s would be perfect, bringing compression to a nice 10.6:1
