pressure leak in the tank would lower fuel pressure, lean condition on accel, and would also would allow for pressure to bleed down and cause a long crank issue. These in-tank pump unit loose the pressure bleed back check valve in the pump all the time.

If you're gettin an EVAP code and you're worried that it will effect the way the engine runs, it will not. The fuel pump sock is submerged in fuel...if there was a leak in one of the lines, not only would it possibly run lean, but you'd have a big fuel leak to show for it. Having the PCM pick up a leak for the EVAP system is kind of like running with the gas cap off (which is often the case with evap codes lol).

If you have an evap code 9 out of ten times it the vent valve mounted between the cab and the box. The solenoid opens in these. I didn't know if you were having an evap code or a lean running condition.

im having lean and evap codes, i was just wondering if they were connected or just 2 seperate problems... its not my gas cap they checked that when i tryed getting inspected, i guess something didnt get tightened all the way when the walbro got replaced...

check the middle line, after my walbro swap i got the same thing. there is a plastic t if you follow it, mine was snapped right at the t. just check all your lines... my .02
