The block is bored to ls1 bore. cheaper to resleeve it than bore another i got sittin in my garage.. the machine shop i took it to has never resleeved one and didnt really want to on how thin the sleeve would be once bored out

Damn! Those cyl walls are thick, what happened!? Fwiw these iron 5.3's can be bored over all the way to 3.905 ,if you need a sleeve its something that needs to be done by a good machinest, id get another block IIWY ! Now if your talking using Darton sleeves and boring out an alum block im sure it's very similar to the 5.7 except more material
