Default scat rods..

who out there is running Scat connecting rods? i am going to be building a motor soon for my truck and i found them for a pretty decent price.

wanna know who is running them and if anyone has had any problems with them... this is going to be a budget build 370

found em for $314.95 for the set...

thats pretty cheap and thats why i wanna know if they are any good...

TSP sells them also with ARP bolts for $429 and says they are good for N2O

They have a pretty good rep for a lower-cost forged rod. I have read from a couple of builders that say they are exactly (as in the same factory) as a couple of the major brands "entry level" rods.

they are the same as eagle, probe, and a few other no name brands. they are an overseas forged rod that seems to hold alot of power. as long as they are the h beam rods they will hold the power...700+hp. I have done a lot of research on the subject and this is what I have came up with. scat does finish machine their rods better than the other brands though. pm me if you need more info on what I found.
