Default Spend me money

Looking at getting heads/ cam/ intake for my Denali. Need your guys input on a set up my buddy has he wants to sell me. He has a brand new set of 821 ls3 heads complete, with Brian tooley dual rate springs with titanium retainers, and gm rockers brand new, new morel lifters, gm head gaskets, a comp cam I wouldn't use thats new, and Brian tooley push rods, a ls3 intake that brand new all straight from gm all for $1200. Again everything is brand new.

I plan on a 408 later but not for another year or more. Just wondering with the right cam what I should expect. I know I'll lose torque which is what I don't want to do but was wondering how much. I can mill the heads to for compression if it will help. Just want a little more help from people who have done a ls3 top end and what you thought and if your happy with it.

That's an ok price for parts, good if the heads have been worked.

Heads aren't the cnc version, I figured it was a pretty good price for everything together and being brand new. I know worked over ls3 heads are 1400 but I figure I can sell the cam and some other small things and recoup about 4-500 and make out pretty well.
