Default Stock 6.0L rebuild

My 2006 silverado 1500HD is nearing 175k miles and it's showing, Currently dosnt burn any oil and the oil pressure is good aslong as the engine is up to temp. but on cold winter mornings(-22 F) its taking 5-10 seconds to build decent oil psi even witht he block heater plugged in all night.

I have collected some parts to build another 6.0L to swap in this summer.
317 heads which I will rebuild and do some minor porting to
LS3 takeoff valvesprings, retainers and keepers
Stock rocker arms w/ comp trunion upgrade
Chromoly 7.400" pushrods
Comp 850-16 lifters
Stock connecting rods w/ ARP bolts
and a good STD/STD 6.0L crank

Looking for a stock replacement piston that wont break the bank(may consider forged if its cheap enough) and a camshaft. I dont want to break the .520" lift/210 duration mark. This isnt a race car and have no intentions of trying to make it one. i DD this truck and do not want to put a stall convertor in it and I tow a trailer very often. Any reccomendations on sourcing out other cheap parts such as timing chain, oil pump etc....

Comp cams 212/218 low lift cam. Also consider milling your 317 heads down to 66 68cc for a little compression bump. That means you will need shorter pushrods. Long tubes would be a plus.

I am running a 6.0 at 10.2-1 compression with 243 heads, EPS 218/226 cam, and long tubes. Pulling my 10k camper is no issue at all, nor is a tock trailer weighing 14k

I was looking at the sealed power lq9 stock replacement pistons and just surfacing the heads to clean. I dont want a a serious bump in compression. The truck has shortys on it already(I know, they came on it) and I cant afford to go long tubes just yet. Was considering Comp 54-452-11 for a cam. I want this thing to go another 170k and dont want to start killing drivetrain parts. The engine is coming first, then the transmission and t-case will be next(both are original)

Yeah if you are going to run the LQ9 piston, definately leave the heads alone. You will be at 10-1. I have never heard of anyone running that cam, but the specs look good for your goals. Pretty similar to the one I suggested but with 2 degrees less exhaust duration and a slightly wider LSA. Looks like you are on the right track.
