Default Stocks locks and retainers with yellow springs

Can I use the stock locks and retainers off my 02 LQ9 with yellow springs? I am running a comp XR275H cam. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!!!

Yes, you'll be fine with the stock locks and retainers, that's how they come from the factory, and that's how I'm running mine Zippy runs the yellow LS6 springs with that exact cam (222/224 .566/.568 112) in his 5.3 and has been for quite a while without any problems, so you should be good to go there too.

I am using all stock stuff also.. 224 dur-581 lift... You will be just fine..

thanks bud, agreed. i just had no clue what those cam specs were. tsp said i could use stock locks and retainers with my cam which has more lift. i just decided to replace them anyways.

lol, this is what i was just talking about. i have the same cam specs and tsp said it was fine to use the stock stuff. i just replaced them anyways...bc i just do stuff like that...
