Default Stripped rocker bolt- Helicoil or tap?

I installed my head today and when I was tightening the rocker bolts I overtorqued one of them. Is it safe to clean the threads and see if it holds to the 22 ft lbs or should I helicoil it with the head still on. Who's helicoiled one of these before and how hard was it?

are the threads actually stripped, or did you just tighten them a bit to much?
if material is missing from the head then a heli-coil is the best option

Heli it or tap it out to the next size bigger and roll with it. If you do heli it use LOC TITE

a good heli-coil requires you to drill out the hole to a slightly larger size and then put in a heli-coil, to do it the right way anyway.
if the threads are still good then just put some lock tite on them and it should be fine!
