Default To stud or not to stud main caps

I was reading how to build high-performance chevy ls1/ls6. The main caps are only good for up to 550hp. So i'm trying to firgure out if i should stud the bottom end of my 2000 c5 ls1 block. So let me know what you guys think.

I don't think that 550 hp number is correct, but if I was building the engine from scratch, and looking to maximize performance AND longevity, I would stud the bottom end, and also the heads. Overkill can be a good thing(if you can afford it). lol

Getting to the limits of that aluminum block then. You planning turbo or nitrous? I'd stud it.

He was answering your question about turbo or nitrous.
He plans on using the same cam/turbo. he runs 8-10lbs right now and wants to do more with the ls1.
