When installing lifters does it matter if the oil hole faces the front of the block or rear? When i installed the lifters in my motor i didnt pay attention to the hole, just threw them in. And forgot to drill holes in the lifter trays.
After reading gm assembly manual for the 6.0 i saw the pattern and direction in which the oil flows and i was thinking the hole had to face the direction the oil is flowing but idk. Trying to find the damn tick in this motor, took the valve cover baffle out of the driverside valve cover cause thats the side its heard but it didnt help. Didnt think it would since the cam is mild but i had to try. Just sounds like one or two lifters aint too happy. Any input?

Ive got the same problem. After chasing every imaginable theory, I just said screw it and turn the radio up while Im idling. 5,500k on the setup and it still sounds the same.
