yeah no worries about it, replace the tank tho, just because, maybe if some *** hole were to pop some water in ur tank like they did with the sugar to this guy, it'd be no bueno.

things are much different these days.
but if you want to screw with gas thief, there is nothing like setting up a trap.
1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, mix well and let it sit until sugar is gone.
put mix in gas can, fill with gas until full, shake well, set out side in the open.

when gas can is gone, someone took the bait, start looking for a smoking
car or truck that lives close by and smells very sweet.
stop in and ask if they seen any one around your place, your missing a gas
can that is holding a special mix for a project.

I didn't even think it would get past the filter let alone injectors. Now coke on the other hand I have heard can mess things up like crystalizing on the cylinder and cylinder walls scarring things up.

I worked for a landscaping place...and every night they would fill the trucks and mowers and gas cans to get ready for the next work day...2 or 3 trucks would always have empty gas cans every morning...so to catch the thief we made a sweet mixture...3 gallons gas, then the rest a mixture of sugar, water, and i think someone took a leak in it....but anyways...sure enough the next day as i am getting to work i see this ford escort getting towed, as soon as i get to work i get the whole story..."yeah!!! we caught the bastard"...he filled his car up and made it like 3 miles and it stopped running...my boss stopped the next morning to help (not knowing he was the one who stole the gas) and when he tried to start it, slow crank then locked up...i guess you could smell it to...but yeah...long story short...we caught the old mexican guy who was stealing our shitty company gas...haha!
