Dont worry Billy, I plan on making a detailed writeup on the matter, but the short version goes as fallowed...

Install rockers per spec with number 1 at TCD set the dial indicator up on the oil hole/push tube hole, then loosen the rocker bolt while watching the needle. The total travel will show on the gauge giving you the most accurate read of lifter pre-load.... Not sure if anyone has a better way but I'm taking full credit on this method.....

Aren't you supposed to be loading up for a long trip with a whole bunch of men in a very small boat?

As a matter of fact, I am currently loaded up the gills with a bunch of men on a "small" boat on a long trip.

Current position is ...
Latitude: 43-40.8N
Longitude: 149-55E
Course: 222
Speed: 22.3 kts
Currently 110nm SouthEast if the Kuril'Skiye Ostrova Islands enroute to Nippon.

And even from here I find the time to give you a friendly ribbing!!

I don't think they make tape measures long enough to measure the burnout Dusty's new project is going to make?

How many hair dryers are going on this thing, Dusty?

That depends on how long it takes for you to get tired of that garbage disposal of yours....

This poor engine will never get to see it's full potential in that poorcharged thing of yours lol.... But I guess 10.XX's are fast enough for some people.....

P.S. dont call me when the thing doesnt run..... lol :nunchuk1: I also love my sig quote for this particular thread... LMAO..... btw I've had it like that for some time so dont think I changed it just for you and your engine....

Well, now that is uncalled for..It will run just fine! The garbage disposal has nothing to do with the engine running or not...

10's should be fast enough for this pig, but only time will tell! We might venture into fabbing some turbo manifolds soon than later if this set-up doesn't do what it should...
