I'd use the XER lobes. More aggressive lobes will make it feel stronger all the way around. Top it off with a set of PAC valve springs.

In general from what I've seen people have better results with the TR cams.

the TR lobes are just a tad bit tamer then the XE-R lobes
both are comp lobes

your completely wrong the 224 tr cam is great for his stock heads.
