Does higher LSA say a 116 vs 112 create more vacuum, due to the cylinders are easier bled off?

Yeah I have do a lot of thinking on that part I found what I think is a 5.3 for $175. If I get the engine then I will 're ring and new bearings. So I'll have plenty of time know rush. And a little more power.

Nice! yea the 5.3L will give you some extra tq. If your going to tear it down, then I would throw your 4.8L flat tops in it
Non milled 61.15 heads/stock 0.051 gaskets with flat tops 10.4:1 compression
Milled 0.03 you will be right around 11:1

I would like to do that. I want to leave the truck running long as possible. So I don't have a lot of down time. I would like to find a set to buy. If anyone has any 4.8 flat tops. LET ME KNOW WILL BUY THEM.

Oh I gotcha, yea then I would budget build the 5.3. Have the heads milled, maybe do a little diy port on the heads if you have experience or feel confident from research as another cheap/timely upgrade. Port the thorttle body leave the stock intake manifold, and with the cam, that's about all you can do to a n/a 5.3L on budget lol

I would install procomp head studs if the motor is assembled on a stand. Little over kill but they are only $70 on ebay. If you have a 99-03 block you need the kit with 3 sizes of bolts, and if it is 05-07 you need the 2 piece kit. If it is an 04 block I can't help you haha b/c they split the style mid way through the year.

The block is suppose to be an 02. I'm at least going to DIY port the head and have them milled. I don't know if I'll try to port the t/b.
I see you have true duals. Do like them. Or would you do a 3" y pipe.
