I'm cleaning up the rods. One of them are kinda hard to move the piston back and forth. What causes is? How can I fix this? I don't want to put that rod and piston in the block like that if it is going to be a problem.

I feel that it will get to hot and cause a problem? Has anyone had this happen? What was your solution?

Yea, they're pricey...

Rockauto has Sealed Power rings for $112. They also have chinese DNJ rings for $53. I used them in my LS2 and they seem to be working just fine...

Just ordered a set of sealed power rings from my machine shop. They said they are only $45. And 45 each on main and rod bearing for clevit. I think they are super cheap.. almost to cheap lol.

Deal with nitrous xpress, they make an awesome/beautiful kit for a very good price. I think a 50-150 shot is $4-500

I have been reading, and a lot of people blow their 60e with nitrous b/c they are spraying it through the shifts. I would look into finding a good deal on an 80e and have it freshened up. That way if the 60e blows you will already have the 80e ready to replace it.

Some 60e are strong though and last forever, guess it depends on what kind of day it was at the factory when they built it. lol
