Default hmmmm....

Cool idea but i'm not feeling the blend of old and new.

I love traditional hot rods, I have a '31 roadster I'm building to late 50's / early 60's style cues with an SBC and 6 deuces. I also love the performance of the modern LSX engines. No problems with hemis either hahaha. But for some reason this one doesn't jive with me on an aesthetic level. I'm sure the workmanship, engineering and performance are top notch but there seems to be an identity crisis here. Hats off to Arias fo the heads though.

I'm sure that thing puts out some serious power, but for the cost to build that..... IDK

One thing about the Arias LS heads is they are reported to flow more than 400cfm on the intake and 300cfm on the exhaust at 28 inches of water with 2.260” int. / 1.600” exh. valves. You can choose from either a true hemispherical chamber or a newer Pro Stock inspired figure-eight style chamber with quench pads. Options include CNC porting, black wrinkle finish or polished valve covers, carbureted or supercharger manifold.

The prices will hurt you at: $9,036 for a complete package or $4,460 for the heads only.

Appearance not appealing to some may be understandable, but LS engines in general were never know to be the most beautiful creations on the planet, though I agree there are some pretty damn fine example out there. But I don’t know of many people that would say an LSX motor equipped with these heads, running a Kobelco 14-71 on Methanol would be anything other than badass!
