Thinking of building 408 in addition to STS
I have an 03 SSS with the STS turbo kit w/GT 67. Im thinking of building a 408/new heads/92mm TB in addition to the turbo. Pretty much the entire engine from top to bottom. Im looking for opinions, estimated power gains, recommendations with the build. Im shooting for low 12's high 11's. Also thinking of putting a bigger turbo on with the build. Thanks

- 42# Injectors
- Snow Meth Kit
- Deleted Cats
When my shop builds my engine Im having them add dynatech headers, efans, upgraded fuel, MSD wires, 60#injectors. Open for ideas.
How much is it to go from the the 4L60 to 4L80?

Thanks! Well the truck is still pretty stock except for the STS kit. The only extras I have done so far are:
- 42# Injectors
- Snow Meth Kit
- Deleted Cats

You will lose heat with the headers and gain lag. Nothing wrong with the factory wires. If you are set on a 408 then go for it, but the turbo is too small. And like I said, you can hit 12's very easy with your currant set-up and 11's are not that far off ether... What size exhaust housing is on the GT?
