Default Thinking of switching out camshaft to improve mpg please chime in

Hey guys, I recently did a Cammed lq9 swap in my rcsb Sierra. The power is great but mpg is not, I am getting roughly 18.5 mpg highway with a 220/228 112lsa camshaft. Do you think my mpg's will improve if I swap the stock cam back in? I know it's a pickup Truck and mpg will never be great but any improvement will help, thank you.

a tune would net you more than a cam swap . your going to what ? 212-218 ? this might get you some , but youll lose alot of power

You should go way up on the LSA to bring some power back towards the low end of the RMP scale.

I'm already tuned by Blackbear performance, I have a stock stall and am thinking about getting a 3200 yank

To bring the power band down...so that the peak power potential is not in the stratosphere.
