Default Tr220 or patriot 226

So I have the thunder racing 220 on a 112 currently I was wondering if I would see any gains by switching it out for
A little bigger cam such as the patriot 226 or similar would the switch be worth the time and money?

You may see gains, but I doubt they would be where you truck could benefit from them. What kind of gains are you looking for anyway? Lance(BlueCajun) got his truck deep in the 12's with a TR220...

what gains are you trying to accomplish?
more peak hp or a certain track times
the TR220 cam has been proven time and time again
I would swap stall and gear before cams

I would do heads first that should give you 20+ hp gain. And cam are you looking for more topend if so then I would do a bigger cam but only after heads.

I jst Wana get into the 12s idk if it will run that now or not? And I jst thot about swapping the cam out for something alittle me radical! And what do u guys think about nitrous with the tr220 like a 125 shot will it work with that cam or no? The reason for the questions about the 226 cam o's because I seen a YouTube video of a pewter silverado with a custom 226 and it sounded sick and the speedo video seemed like it ran really well

Also I plan on swapping some 4.10s or some 4.30s in eventually I run a 30inch tall tire on a 22. I also have some 243s that I thot about working over and having milled to bump the compression back up from the loss! Or would I better off working over my 706s?

Mill the 243's with a valve job leave the cam alone and do 4.11's and nitrous and you should reach well into your goal and better and if you want a bigger cam later on take out the 220 n go 226 n sell your 220 looks like grey matter is intrested.
