thanks for the replies guys. keep it comin.
I think the 3k stall would be great, dunno how much I can pick one up for really. As far as the lope goes, sounds pretty damn nice with a high lift cam in a truck I think. I was first looking at a TR220, but when I saw the difference in performance gains between the 220 and 224 I started leanin to the 224. BTW, can you special order a ecsb 1500 with a 6.0 other than getting the ss or 4wd?

I have a TR224 114lsa and there really isn't that much difference in performance between the 220 and the 224. I put down 333rwhp and 323rwtq. I no some of the guys with the 220 are close if not more than that.
I think the 224 114lsa is very streetable with a 3000 stall it idles close to stock and never stalls. I get 16-18 mpg with a Yank tt3000 and 4.10 gears.

the 220 puts just as much down if not more than the 224 with similar mods. i'm runnin the 220/112, check out them dyno #'s in sig. + i'm running 4.10's getting 20mpg on hwy and still running my first mail order tune.
ap2002, i think you could get around it with the tb stall. i'm running a 3k right now but if my truck was a daily driver and not a weekend warrior, i would have went with a 2600 to 2800 stall.

you can't get a 6.0 option on the 1500. on the 1500 ss you can though (LQ9). only option on the 1500 now is the lm7 flex fuel. and the 2006 ss is indeed AWD, goto chevy.com and do build&price. it shows you the specs and engine codes when it gives you the options.

that's cool. Don't get the wrong impression that I'm tryin to prove you wrong or somethin, I'm tryin to just figure out info here. I never thought of going to the dealership and asking them (most of the dealerships locally are jacka$$es). My uncle works at a dealership up near Spring so I'm gonna ask him the price difference of the options if I get the chance.
Also, on the camshafts, are there any specifics that make a cam better for spraying? I've seen so many guys on this forum running all kinds of different combos and can't really figure out which cam would be better for potentially using nitrous in the near future.
btw 1slow, where in houston are you located?
