Trying to find a cam
Hi all,
I have to take my heads off for a freeze plug leak, so I figured I should upgrade the cam while i'm at it. ( lifters ticking aswell)
I'm just trying to figure out what the best selection would be, The truck is otherwise completely stock. I DD it, so I don't want something that's crazy, just something to give me a little boost in power since i'm in there anyways.
its a 2004 AWD SS BTW.

Tooley truck, stage 2 is nice. Hos stage 3 with a convertor will be alot of fun.
While you have top off. Toss on a nnbs intake and slip in some speed engenering headers with a mbrp catback. Try to find a flex fuel intake with injectors.
Will be a nice power bump.
Edit. Posted wrong headers.

TrickFlow 216/220 it's the cheapest cam you can buy. That 6.0 will love the small split and really wake it up from about 3000rpms and scream above 4500rpm. I would agree that some longtubes would be a great idea. LPP or Texas speed make very affordable stainless LTs that are awesome.
