i know what a cam does first of all. yes i do take it out and wind it up my shift points are 6150 from what my edge reads ( using an edge because it was my first programmer all i use for it now is real time data. I asked Justin if he could go farther and i didnt get a response. right now i am dealing with a p0300 and p1174 which he thinks is an actual miss fire but i checked everything and its legit. I get the codes randomly, like yesterday i did a highway pull to 120 and slowed down to a light and after a minute of driving ended up getting both codes but the truck didnt act different, and sometimes i will just be driving around town and i will get them. Some times i can even go a week with out getting a code.

I would do headers first personally and deal with the dead spot in the mean time. Gears and converter shortly after.

No reason to ever sell a Pacesetter headers to a 99-07 truck guy again! Our stainless headers are less expensive, fit better, perform better, and look MUCH better

Those are a good option as well. I think I need a set for testing purposes!
