Cool TSP 220r cam and California emissions?

Is there anyone here living in California and has a TSP 220 cam and able to pass emissions? I currently have the cam, springs and everything I need, but now am worried that once I pop the cam in I will be screwed when it comes time for inspection. My current mods include TBS intake, Long tubes with ORY, converter, trans cooler, shift kit. I have a Blackbeard tune plus a stock ECU and currently swap my exhaust and ECU to pass smog without any difficulty. If the 220 is no bueno, please suggest anther proven can that will smog.

Thanks!

You passed the emissions test with LT's and ORY? I don't live in Cali, but I thought you needed catalytic converters for the test?

Unfortunately the only camshaft that we have heard back on passing emissions in California, is the 212/218 camshaft.

If anybody has any information, please let us know.

As long as you have at minimum or more than -8* of overlap you should be okay

The cams a 114

I'd actuall consider trading for a baby can such as a 212/218, small Vinci cam, EPS or Isky 212 etc. If anyone is interested send me a PM.

Forgive my ignorance, but does the Tsp 220 fit within these specs?

220/114 is -8* overlap so yes. I wouldn't go with anymore overlap than -8*. You should be fine with a good tune.

I passed CA emission with a 218/222 114. (-8*)

I have the same cam you have and it will pass seeing that you have a good tuner thats not to worry... I was told you can get away with tsp224 or the ts224 as long as the lobe is on a 114... hope this helps..
