its not that bad... IICR you dont have to get a new TC. The V6 tranny will bolt up minus one bolt on top of the housing but it should bolt up an drive okay. it wont last long behind the V8 so you might as well get your tranny built
Motor and frame mounts are required, along with harness and most of the accessories. Only your power steering pump and alt will transfer over from the V6.
Just depends on how involved you wanna be with the truck and your knowledge. This site is great to learn from man! goodluck
