LS6 spring will work well with that cam. Any plans for forced induction in the future? If so it would be wise to getting a stiffer spring than LS6's.

Agreed^ If not boosting, those LS6s will work very well IMO.

Stock max lift is .500, you could probably us them, but I wouldn't risk it. The more heavy duty the valve spring, the more valve train noise you will hear. I think that is why GM put such low lift cam in the trucks, is to keep tq but also to use a real soft springs to keep the motors quiet. You shouldn't need any more than .570 lift, even if you decided later to go to a larger camshaft. The stock runners in the heads flow pretty well until .550 lift, after that the air flow pretty much flattens out, so going with a .6+ lift cam on stock heads is over kill

If the heads are not milled and the stock head gasket size is used you should be fine with the stock 7.4" pushrods. Everybody will tell you to order the $20 comp pushrods checker just to be safe and make sure.

If the heads are milled .025-.03 then you would be looking at 7.375 pushrod, but again every motor is different and in order to get the correct length gotta measure.
