what all is needed to swap to L92 heads
these are the heads in question https://store.gmperformanceparts.com...-88958698--%3E
i am doing a iron block 6.0L with forged internals (callies rods and wiseco pistons) and a turbonetics t78 turbo... i have prc 2.5 heads and a stock truck intake from a 2005 but i can get a good deal on a set of CNC'd L92 heads but i have to know something ASAP
what all is needed to swap from a stock 2005 setup to a L92 setup...wiring, fuel rails and injectors? or will the stock fuel rails and injectors work??
do they make a 2bar map for the intakes?? and were can i get one?? what about throttle body??
just trying to do some research before i get over my head ya know
here are the L92 flow chart
Lift------Intake (cfm)-----Exhaust (cfm)
0.200----154---------------100
0.300----222---------------136
0.400----266---------------166
0.500----309---------------189
0.600----345---------------202
and the PRC
Lift------Intake (cfm)-----Exhaust (cfm)
0.200----147---------------111
0.300----206---------------145
0.400----254---------------105
0.500----291---------------204
0.600----312---------------223
the intake side flows more on the L92's but the exhaust flows more on the PRC's
whats better for turbo???
will the stock manifolds (2005 lq9) still work??

map needs to get extended from the harness.
evap is different
TB connection is different, xlink
I thik the valve covers need clearancing for the rockers
if you add a matching cam some 42 lbs injectors would be nice.

wheatley has an awesome set of ls3 heads foresale
its not a hard conversion rather simple, might be alittle different cause of a electronic throttle body, i use a cable driven.
the valve covers like mentioned, the baffles will need to be grind on alittle bit for fittment, but no issues doing so. dont run a evap soo i discontinued that part.when it comes to cams the only way to go is a custom grind as for fuel rails, i used a set of edelbrocks that i had laying around from my vic jr intake, fuel injectors worked perfect without issues, you will need to make brackets for the fuel rails if you dont use the l92 fuel rails, ( i have a set if you need them with injectors pm me if interested )
