what cam?
what cam would be good for a 408 with tvs 2300 and 4l80e with 2800-3000 stall. Im looking for good street manners aswell as good low end torque? possibly the stock power band with more beef to it? Also i dont want too much of a choppy idle just something to let you know its there.
thanks

custom grind...something like a 222/222 or a 224/224 with a 115+2 lsa
another proven cam would be the Vinci "trucker" a little more tame than mentioned above....216/224 .551/.551 115+4 I believe

I'd have to agree with sonoma43, the last thing you'll want is a long duration big overlap cam with the supercharger. Let the supercharger do the work up there, build the 408 for that heavy torque robbing 4L80E and AWD system. The Comp Cams XER273 comes to mind, except custom ground on a 116+2 lobe separation angle to reduce overlap and idle smoother.

We went with the 226-238, 601-601, 114 LSA on a 408 with the 1900. It seems to work extremely well. Good manners on the street till you mash the pedal. Here is the dyno graph. What heads are you running. My builder ported some LS2 heads that flowed great. With that 2300 you will need a bigger cam like this one to make it run.
