What camshaft/spring to go with before KB turbo install? besides ls6, want loppy idle
I know the ls6 cam and springs is a great addition to the 4.8.
I am going w/ kb racing mpt70 or the 76 havent decided yet.
Looking for a decent loppy idle but nothing out of control. Boost will be around 10psi, not sure if i'll make 15psi like foose04.
Do want to make 500 whp daily driver tho too!

Lopey idle is caused by overlap with is a by-product of overlap, usually people achieve lope by going to a tighter LSA such as a 110 or 112, I'm not a FI guy, but I believe I've read here that you want a wider LSA like a 114 or higher for boost.
I'm sure one of the boosted guys will come in here and either correct or confirm this.

do some more research. what you are looking for in a lopey sounding cam is not optimal for boost. you are going to want to optimize the most out your setup to make 500 at the wheels out of a 4.8 and still have good dd characteristics. imo go custom cam and custom tune if you dont already have one.

I did some research there are no posts.
Any other ideas besides an ls6 cam swap into the 4.8?
Or just do the ls6 and be done with it?
Should I pull the heads, get them cleaned up, install ARP head bolts?
Roller rockers should I stick with the 1.7 or go 1.8 or 1.85??
