What engine would benefit from this cam
Of course this is another cam thread...
We have a Crower 217/226 .553/.575 114 lsa in the shop.
Getting Pete at Vmax to spec a cam for this 6.2L.
This 217/226 came with the 6.2 and we are tryin to figure out if a stock LQ4 would benefit from it or hurt..
What yall think??

haha, wonder what the hp and tq curve would look like?
Tryin to decide if it would be good in Chris's truck.. he has my old Yank TT3000 thats a tad loose.
and prolly need to go with some 918s or something huh? gettin close to the limit of the LS6 springs.

Well, my vmax motorsports cam is a 218/224 .562/.581 114 LSA +2 and it made torque like this in my 6.0L. Although who knows if it's installed right. I never got a cam card to degree the camshaft in. My next cam will be better. Be prepared buying a cam from Pete, you don't get a cam card. Although if you call COMP cams with the serial number they'll blab anything to you Too bad I called after it was installed and running.

id like to put his truck on a dyno as it sits now.. it doesnt feel like it stops pulling till 6400 so we are shifting it at 6300 1-2 and 6200 2-3 with the LS6 cam..
