What is a good rpm to spin
I am about to finish up my forged 370 with stock crank. I will be upgrading to a gt450r or pt88. I am wanting to know how high I should spin the engine. I was thinking 6800. Just looking for so e more opinions. It's kinda a dd

the rpm you spin it to will have a lot to do on the cam you have and the powerband of the motor. no use spinning it to 6800 if power drops off at 6200. when you dyno it, just watch your powerband and decide how far to push it

I have yet to have a cam spec'd for it. Thats why i was looking for opinions on max RPM. I really want it to be a top end screamer. I mostly like racing in Mexico so roll racing is where its at for me.
