yea i've got one laying around but i've already cleaned the stock one and didn't see anything in it which was a good sign.

There are some guys over on tech that run them. I haven't heard anything negative about them. I might give them a shot if I have to pull my 408

so are these lifter same size as a stock lifter as well? seeing if i would need to go with new pushrods.

THey are the same size. They can be used with stock lifter trays. They call for .025" to .075" of preload. So you will have to measure with your current pushrods.
