I'm running a comp cam. Look around on the forum at the millions of cam threads that other people have already started, and look at alot of people signatures in their posts. They usually list what mods they have done, and track times or dyno numbers. And the install isn't too bad if you have the right tools.

It is just time consuming, itsn't really hard. What kind of set up you have, what are you looking for?? I duno how much of a increase I seen never had drove it with a stock cam in it, but if i had to guess a deff 20 hp to the wheels.. depend where you want your power.. More details would be better

Cam = 224-224 581-581 on 112lsa Comp 224R

John

These motors are pretty straightforwards to install a cam...much easier then the older Gen 1 and Gen 2 engines, or any other pushrod type motor IMO...

we just finished a cam install (my first)... the actual swap for the cam wasnt bad... took only a couple of hours.... however the replacement of the springs was a complete bitch that in itself took 4 hours....

Cam = 212/218 115 LSA

edelbrock 2216, made 340 at the wheels at a low 6000 rpm power was still climbing , Im guessing around 450 engine HP with the stock FI, throttle body.
