Default What's the least path of resistance?

I got a bitch of of a broken header bolt on the driver's side, closest to the fire wall, where there is no room to work with. I have tried right hand bits, left hand bits, extractors, etc to no avail... the results I had was... using a right angke attachment on my drill was I made a deep enough hole to put in an ease out... I broke the ease out off in the hole I made in the broken header bolt, started all over and now its like I can't makr any headway drilling this bolt out... I drill till my arns give out or I run out of beer and patience. I'm at my whits end... please help. Should I pull engine or heads to have more room or just bow out and take to a shop?

We tried welding a nut to it but it didn't work so we just left it!

I usually weld something to it and back it out. If not just pull the head. Pretty easy to do and a machine shop can have it out in no time!

the e-z out is stronger then the dril bit your using thats why its not working anymore, pretty well at this point your only option is to take the head to a machine shop and let them work they're magic
I get this at work quite often and the customer is always warned...there's always that other option...
luckily I havent had one break yet

One missing bolt on your headers won't create a problem... just run that bitch! It'll be fine!

I do agree with the header studs though for next time! I need to get some of those myself.
