For sure want them milled. Depending on what Richard suggest will be next changes. My thoughts are porting and maybe larger valves.

locally, the cheapest i found was $800/pr for porting and polishing and $70/pr (or somewhere close to that) for milling .030"

1 more for Richard. I shoped around and he by far has the best quality not to mention his knowledge base. Other's just wanted to sell me a head but couldn't discuss the flow chareteristics esspecially on these small bore engines. when i talked to richard he about many specific packages and what i wanted he got me set in the right directon. Looking forward to doing a couple more projects with him.
