Default WTF son of a mother f##king **** monkey

well it seems my motor has a rattle in it today. i had to follow some friends up to Baltimore today and the lead guy was driving like a freaking moron. i think he thought we were in nascar. i think the ole 5.3 didn't like it to much. now it clatters. but i can tell you at 80mph i can get 5psi boost with only 37% throttle. so i just want to confirm. a 5.3l can go to 3.903" bore correct? i'm looking at the Wiseco pistons. from what i have read and remember the 2618 Alloy is a good turbo piston alloy. correct?

oh and for the first time EVER i seen smoke out the back side when i got on it and my pcv vent was puffing smoke at idle.

clevite bearings are what i used. and i went to 3.898 not 3.903 so i would do some research on the bore size. sorry to hear about it buddy. why dont you do the 383 swap now? you have everything for it dont you?

as in what failed? or what to use on the build. My guess as to failing is a piston.

I put 20 over on my original 5.3. Had custom blower pistons made for it. I only got 5K miles out of it before the thrust bearing failed. But I loved every mile of it. It my 6.0 never felt as strong (out of boost or getting into boost). Sorry to hear you obviously have a failure.
