I talked to a SDPC rep earlier and he said the PAC 1218's would still be great use for my cam. If I wanted to step up to a higher lift spring, the PAC 1518's would be great. This was my cam he was talking about, but food for thought.

[QUOTE=GMCtrk;4240958Vinci's website has it listed for $413. That seems high to me for a cam.

I would not hesitate to get the Vinci cam, but Im not liking that price.[/QUOTE]

Michael, don't let an extra $53 hold you back...yea, $413 is high, about $14 higher than I've ever seen their cams go for (actually I'm surprised that Roger's website has been updated, as I mentioned he was just about out of stock when I talked to him a month or so ago...I figured and he mentioned that it would probably be at least 6 months before Crane would be operational if they got bought). $360 is a great price, I've pretty much accepted that $399 is the going rate for most new cams. I'll bet that if you taked to Roger he'd probably do free shipping or something.

IF Crane is pumping out product again, you'll be able to find the same Vinci grind with a Crane part number on Summit's website, probably a bit cheaper. Or maybe they still have some old stock. Check Crane's website and look for the specs You could even call Vinci and see if he'll price match or do better...doubtful but worth a shot
