Our very own SVT_Scott has one of the first Turbo trucks, but he's running a big single.

You're thinking of JLP with the TT setup.

Turbo would be great, but if you live in CA forget it. When smog time comes you'll be pulling your hair out trying to find a smog tech who'll look the other way. Or end up having to pull it off every time you smog it. To the best of my knowlegde their are no C.A.R.B exempt turbo kits for the L. And the support for a Turbo'd L is practically non existant in comparison to the after market positive displacemant blowers(KB, Whipple). Although If you wanted it bad enough that could be a minor forsight.

There have been turbocharged Gen 2s since mid 2000.

You ever ride in a turbo truck, you'll definitely be chunking that Eaton in the garbage.

I would love to chuck my Eaton in the trash for a turbo! If you could point me to a CARB exempt kit with excellent product support I'd be a happy camper. I also need a kit without fitment issues. The last couple of Gen II kit installs I saw had quite a few fitment issues and missing parts. I just don't have the time to be tinkering, like I use to.
