I contacted him on the 6th about his navigation radio, we agreed to terms and I headed up on the 9th to go get it. I came from houston to austin to get this radio from him. I will admit it was dumb of me to not bring my tahoe and plug it in upon meeting up with him there. I was with my friend though whom had heard him just as I did, tell me if there are any issues let him know. He could get me another. Ok cool, he sounds like a good honest guy to buy from and his feedback looks good on here. Fast forword to the 10th where I go to try this radio. I disconnect the battery and swap out the radios, hook up my battery again and turn the key on. Radio displays a time for two seconds then shuts off right away. Hmm. I press power again and it does the same thing. I go over all my fuses and check the radio connector and everything is good. I go around the net and see a theftlock should be active displaying CODE or LOCK. I contact Anthony on the 11th telling him I believe the radio is dead and asking if he has another. He says he thinks and will check in the morning.
I take it to work on the 12th (I'm a auto body tech) and have my shop foreman whom is a 10+ year GM heavy line tech attemt to do a VIN relearn with a Tech II. Radio won't accept any commands thrown at it. I contact Anthony again and tell him whats up on the 12th, he gets back to me on the 15th asking for the part #. Hmm ok I sent it. On the 22nd he tells me he has two Lux units and trying to find another non for me. Ok, progress. I try to contact him on the 29th, 30th and today the 31st to no avail.
Until I get a working radio or my $300 back this guy is a really bad seller. I went all that way to austin get that radio, the least he can do is send me a message that takes two minutes max telling me whats up. Yeah it's $300, but it's more than I care to just throw away and I can't get my day spent on this back.

Well I haven't been able to get into contact with him after countless tries over the past two months. I'm pretty sure the deal is done and nothing will come of this. I've since bought another working navigation unit off craigslist and used his face plate on it. Thanks Anthony for selling me a $300 face plate, looks good!
