Default Got screwed by go5.3tt06

Had to wait a day to post this so as not to drop the F bomb every 3rd word. Bought this clowns 65 Mustang, he was asking $9000, went down to $7800, and I talked him down to $6500.

Texted him a lot about the car with him saying this at one point:

My wife calls the auto transporter about halfway to Tx to line out delivery because my son had a doc appt the next morning. He tells her right away something is wrong with the car and it kept dying and would barely load up on the trailer. I text Luke (go5.3tt06's real name) and ask him wtf. He says that he told me that the car had a carb problem...funny thats not in any of the text messages and I have every single one still.

This is what happens when the car gets to my house:

Funny...he has pics of the car with the door open, then he never mentions previously the door doesnt open...wonder how old those pics are? Well the interior is nice and clean in the pics and when we get its its dusty as hell in there. So we have more deception.
Then Luke, being the the piece of **** he is shows his true colors with his "you signed bill of sale, sorry" text:

Still trying to figure out what to do, legally or what. My wife and I want the car, even the fact that it doesnt run like its brand new doesnt bother us. Its the principle of the situation that has me pissed.

Pretty much you can't do anything legal wise if you didn't get a bill of sale or title any paper trail you paid for the car you would be screwed and yes that is screwed up not telling you about some of the messed up parts of the car, same thing happened to my brother couple years ago that's ks though might be diffrent in your area

Why don't you ask for him to make it right by paying back a couple of bucks to get the carb issue resolved? How'd you pay?

Man that sucks, Ive had a few issues with my recently purchased truck too. Unfortunately there are a lot of crappy people in the world these days. I dont think you can do a whole lot legally but hopefully he will help you out a little. I sent him a PM with a link to this thread telling him to respond.

If I remember right he has some sort of disability that makes his grammar bad.

IIRC he's deaf, so that's why his grammar is the way it is.

I hate buying stuff, and then all lthe "oh yeah, that's messed up, but it's not big deal" starts coming out.
