    Yeah i just found that out today lol, got the motor and tranny in just mocking everything up to go get the back half done then the turbo kit.... u live up north where its cooler than louisiana so ac isnt that important to ya lol did u make your own crossmember?

    I don't have AC. I do know the AC compressor on the engine won't fit between the frame rails. I have seen others mount the AC compressor up higher to clear the frame.

    man i am so illiterate with my way around this site haha..... i just found that u replied on here! i just sold my 383 w/ 4L60 trans to start on the TURBO 408 LS2, dude im siked, im also considering going w/ F.A.S.T fuel injection but i duno yet.....yah i really did get a hook up huh? hey are u running air conditioning and how hard was it to hook up if ya did?

    By the way... Thats CHEAP dough for a engine AND tranny. I paid 1300 for my engine alone and another 700 for my tranny.

    The oil pan I used was the stock oil pan that came with my motor. I believe the motor came from a 2002 3/4 ton chevy truck. It fits fine between the frame rails.
    The wiring harness I used was from the same junkyard 2002 chevy truck. I sent the complete harness to Wait for Me Performance. Just google it and you will find it. They removed the stuff I didn't need... Such as ABS, airbags, the 2nd set of O2 sensors, the EGR valve wiring, etc. They also reprogrammed my computer to remove the anti theft stuff. They did a great job. All wires that needed to be hooked up were labeled. Hope this helps.

    another question haha.... did u say you sent your harness off to get all the stuff out of it that wasent needed? if so who did u send it to and what did they do?

    Hey found my 6.0 motor with 4l80e trans for 1200$ today and in great condition! let the fun begin!
