I had some questions regarding caltracs, and building boost. I noticed that you had yours backed off 3 full turns, I also read your post on a diesel forum, and read the original where you had seen it. I posted this question on pt.net and didnt get the answers I was looking for. I originally had a full turn of preload, and leaving from 1k and flashing my converter netted me 1.68-1.69 60s on M&H drag radials, i figured not bad for leaving basically from idle in a turbo truck. I tried to build boost and I was able to build 7-8lbs, but it also preloaded everything so much being up on the converter, that as soon as i let off the brake the truck just dropped and spun. Is this the same reason the 2wd diesel guys are backing them off? I would love to try to leave under some boost without taking away the benefit of the caltrac bars. All the answers I got, was better shocks, better shocks. Thanks
