Yeah just give it a little tug tug. I pulled my master off without touching the rod or the pedal just twisted it clockwise and it popped right off

Alright so I tugged on the metal rod and nothing happened. Then I removed the snap ring and tugged and the entire guts came out. Did you put the spacer in behind all this or did I go too far?

You’re looks allot different then mine. You might have to cut the rod and lengthen it slightly or configure a spacer that goes between the rod and clutch pedal.

Figured. Oh well hopefully I can put this brand new one back together and get my neighbor to cut and weld a piece in to lengthen it. Or figure something else out. Let the experimenting continue!

Well got the rod out. Took about 20 minutes with tiny flat heads to push the prongs out of the way. I think if I just cut and have a small piece welded in the rod it will be good to go.

Nice. I would find something you can use as a sleeve then cut it and put it in the sleeve and weld both sides.

The whole swap went really smooth and was allot easier the I expected. Only problem now is I’m out of projects and bored. Been thinking about picking up a rcsb 1st gen S10 to swap with what ever gen 3 motor I can find and build a th400 for it and build a turbo setup for it. Figured it something I could build, tune and turn around and sell down the road for a little profit.

Went to pick a part today to finally source a smaller radiator overflow and found a nice little Honda one that should get the job done and doesn’t take up any room. Also picked up a Chevy Colorado front lip and fit it onto the S10. It was a bit wider then my S10’s bumper but I was able to take a heat gun and drill holes in it to use bolts and nuts to mount it up. Got that stuff and some bravada ***** for $20 total. Pretty happy with how the lip looks. Might need some side skirts now.
