what kinda motor is it

was this a sy/ty at one time and if so why no turbo

Nope, just a regular Sonoma. It's my old truck that I had right before my Lightning. The motor is a .60 over 350 with Vortec heads, Eldebrock intake, Comp 292 cam and a 650 Double pumper backed by a 700R4.

Nah, sold it to a good friend of mine. I still do most of the wrenching on it, he just funds the projects. Get to see it finished the way I wanted it but on his dime.

It's gonna be a mild street/strip truck for now till we 4 link it down the road. The motor setup will change by then as well. This was a kinda need to thing since the old 4.3 took a dump on him. Figured might as well swap it now.

One of these days I'll do my own S-10/Sanoma project with the 350 (or bigger). I think it's cool... big motor+small pickup=big grins.
