Tomorrow I am picking up a 6L long block. I maybe selling some parts off of it but I will be building/rebuilding it for a replacement motor. I'll post pics after I get it. I am also going to work on the traction bars tomorrow and try to get this thing ready for the road. I need to get this done before the baby comes!!

Here is a small update. I installed a industrial fan from my work in the shop. I also got the 6.0 home and took the headers off, coil packs, a few brackets and stuff. I received my new front shocks today and I managed to finish up one side of the traction bar mounts while raking, bailing, and hauling hay most of the day today.
I'm to tired to write more, here are the pics:

You know I'm not 100% sure right now. I had to adjust them a little so I will have to re-measure and get back to ya.
Not this year but NEXT year do you think you will be going to LSFest? I would love to line up against you and see how I stack up. It should be a good one if I keep the 5.3 on N20. I might have the 6.0 in it by then though...

I'm down man with the little 5.3 or the 6.0. I am getting the truck on the road with my 5.3 that's in it now and then build the 6.0 (not sure how much) and stick it in there.
I'm looking forward to lining them up. I think if we are both 5.3's on N20 we will have real close times...I hope

Tonight I finally got the shock off the truck. It was a huge pain in the ***. I had to cut the nut in half to get it out. Anyway it is out and the new 2" lowering springs and shocks are in. The passenger side of the truck is now 100% done. I also picked up the drive shaft and he said it should hold up to 1000HP. It has the solid joints and the rear flange fits the 8.8 rear with 1350 joints. Here are some pics. I also included more pics of the traction bars.
Traction bar length:
New spring and shock
New look
(front still needs to settle)
