it is but it's not relly that big a deal compared to many other ridiculous regs. Just adding a flash modifyer makes a rifle an "assualt" waepon under CA rules, now that's just rediculous.
Every time I see some antigunner on tv they always cite the LA bank robberies where fully armored men using full autos robbed banks. Stupid stupid, they criminals to begin with but they were using weapons pretty much illegal to posses in this state already. Arrrggg, don't get me started on the stupididty of many regs.

no, honestly it's THEY HAVE THEM (Gov't Officials) and DON"T WANT YOU (the public) to be able to have more firepower than they do so the tryanny can grow and prosper.

She demonstrated enormous hypocrisy when it was revealed that she possessed the ONLY concealed firearm permit in the city of San Francisco.
Can you say "Elitist Pig"?
Apparently without shame, she participated in a city wide gun turn-in program that was intended to create some kind of statue from the donated guns that were to be melted down. One of her police body guards let it slip that she contributed a cheap model for the melt-down, while retaining her .357 magnum revolver for her own personal self defense!
20 years later and now she is in Congress. Stupid in Congress!

if its black and scary looking, it has to go. regardless of the fact criminals get their guns illegally, laws arent going to stop them. just inhibit law abiding citizens from protecting themselves

I was listening to an IDIOT on the radio saying we should ban handguns. His logic was that criminals wouldn't be able to get them if companies stopped manufacturing them. He seemed to conveniently forget the MILLIONS of handguns in circulation already, that would most definitely fall into the hands of the black market and criminals if they were banned. He also tried to say that the UK has many fewer handgun related crimes now that they have been banned, but he forgot home smaller the UK's population is than the US.
