Default WTB: flush mount tool box

I am looking for a tool box that does not com up over the bed rails ans only sits in front of the wheel wells. I am wanting it to put my air tank and compressors and solenoids and things in when I 'bag my truck. I DONT want diamond plate. It would look like *** in my truck. used would be fine since I am planning on painting the box anyway. it does not need to have any shelves or extras. Just something relatively weatherproof and low profile. Let me know whats out there.

custom made buddy... that's all you can do. I wanted a stealth one for the SS, bu I just decided to just get a bed cover. We can make one when you come back and buy a welder Benny WarBucks. Better yet, buy it while you're out there and ship it to me!!
-BTW Merry Christmas, don't let the sand get you down... or get in your cl**

I know what I want is out there somewhere.. I have seen them. I could probably get one for about 150 or 200 or so... I was wondering if I could find someone wanting to get rid of one....

Merry Christmas to you too man... the sand isnt bad. just rather it be snow right about now. you want to help me 'bag the sled? I am grabbing up parts here and there already.

I'm doing the same thing as you Silver-mod-o. What I did was buy a tool box made for a S-10 and because its narrower, it slides right down between the bed rails and right in front of the wheel wells. Its a little short just sitting on the bed floor so I'm going to make some legs to raise it up a bit to where the lid of the box is flush with the bed rails.

yeah but does the s-10 box have the edged or it to sit on the side of the bed? I dont want one of those. I want a big rectangular box with a lid and latch. and maybe some weatherstripping because I am planning on dynamatting it and carpeting it so the compressors arent too loud and obnoxious. I hope someone has something on here like I m wanting to get rid of. I am ready to get back to the 'states so I can start cutting up my truck. LOL

Yeah it does have the lips on the sides where it would normally sit on the S10 bed rails. You can't really tell from looking from the top. You loose a little bit of space from this but I don't really need all the extra space.
Plus you might be able to find one of those cheaper used than the full box style your looking for. Just an idea.

could you get a few pics of your setup? I would really like to see how it looks. I plan on bolting it to the bed since all of my airbag junk will be in it and I dont want it moving around and stuff. Good idea on the box though if you dont need the room.
