It has had a 4" blower pulley on it forever until the last two passes that day. 6-rib FTMFW!

The whole goal with this thing is to not only be the first procharged in the 10's but with a tiny motor and out of the box procharger kit (with maybe the exception of a pulley change).

I know exactly what your saying. I haven't seen the videos of the 1.66 60's. But I can tell you that it didn't spin very much on those passes. If it keeps doing that I'll probably stiffen the shocks up one more click and see if that helps it.

I saw it and totally know what you are saying. It was always my experience that the best launches are when you do not load the suspension at all. By brake stalling you load the suspension then it has to unload, then reload again.

I know you are FI (<---I have no experience with this and could be talking smooth outta my *** ) but is it really necessary to brake stall it that high to build boost? I was always NA and stalled my 3600 verter to 1200. When it was time to leave, the stall flashing always netted me better 60' times than when I brake stalled it to the max.

Just my two pennies but I say try a dead launch as I described. Could help you out.

Off idle to 2000 rpm launches with this thing suck. Your probably on to something with the N/A setup. However, don't work so good when boost is involved.

Thats what I was thinking. I figured you had to have a good amount of load on the engine to build boost. I imagine its a turd if you don't. Would a little shot of gas or a looser, higher flashing converter help?

Edit: My dad's friend races in a 10.5 outlaw class. We got to talking one day about launches and I described to him how I usually came off the tree (brake stalling the hell out of it till the tires almost moved). He explained the suspension cycling and how it was hurting me. I dropped a full tenth off of my 60' time by brake stalling it to like 1200 and letting the converter flash naturally off the line.

Bingo man!!! you just helped me, last week out, i was braking stalling as high as i could just above 2100-2300 rpms pushing through the brakes, and netted the worse times and 60fts, when i ran the best times i only went to 1500-1700 and netted the best 60 ft times this weekend i am gonna try a few things plus make adjustments accordingly.

truck looks good and runs good but you have a lot more on the table. squat is no good. this is why 4 link setups add anti-squat in. think of the squat not as weight transfer but as the rear end pulling up wanting to unload the tires.

take an old car big car with soft suspension and open rear for example. brake stall it up the right back side of the car will sink down. also the right back side of the car will spin that tire first. its not adding more weight back there to squat down, the torque is pulling the axle up unloading that tire.
