as far as i remember the low end is the same if not better. its a tsp224 cam and i've never actually checked out when the power really starts to pull, it feels good pretty much everywhere.

What roads are you doin this on? By this i mean were you on concrete in the 4.10's vid and crap road for the 3.42? How are your tires now vs then etc.
To me you hit it at about 28mph and it hit 80 in about 6 seconds with 4.10's....could just be me though. You didn't let out til a touch over 90.
The 4.10's won't be a huge differance in times overall. For my rcsb it went .3 faster in the quarter. Not enough to really tell a differance on a camcorder ya know.
Also note when you nailed it in the 3.42 vid you were doin about 32-33mph and the spin like that then grab will show a much faster time for mph to mph.
I played with hptuners doin mph to mph runs a good bit and it was always alot faster when i spun like that.
Still pulls nicely though on the 50 punch vid.

the location was the same and i had 20s with the 4.10s and stock 16s with the 3.42 i'm pretty sure with my built trans the 4.10s would be a little faster but a big thing is it didnt spin as much. maybe the stock stall makes it spin more? but i do think it pulls on the highway faster with the 3.42s.

I would bet money it's the rim/wheel swap.
I went from stock 16's to some 20's and my 1/4 dropped .6 back when my ecsb was a bolt on 5.3l.
Do you still have the 20's to do a comparison with the 3.42?

also a loose stall vs a stock stall will eat up power which is why with a high stall on a dyno you always show lower numbers.
I actually lost 3mph while the truck was bolt on 5.3 when i went from a stock stall to a yank 2600.
But it ran faster times.

yea that probably has some to do with it, though my 20s were a little shorter then my stock tires. they did weigh about 25lbs more a piece. i'm thinking about getting some 275/60/16 tires for the stockers to see if that helps traction.

I have riden in his truck with all the different combinations of gears, wheels, etc.... The truck flat out moves and looses traction as you see in the video... Yes the truck is calibrated for the wheels and gears cause I did it.... Personally I don't think his truck needs a converter cause it would just cause him to loose traction even worse than it is now...
