I like my 3.42s..
Ive had alot of people tell me i need to get 3.73s or 4.10s..

I would like to see some real evidence on how gears on a stock truck how if they help or hurt..
I know 3.23 is too tall of a gear.. but i think 3.42s and 3.73s are the happy medium, and 4.10s are too low.. How many guys on here have gone from 4.10s to the higher gear?

Honestly I have been thinking about moving down to 3.73s... I just don't like turning that many RPMs going down the highway... My exhaust gets louder at 70-75 due to the rpms not to mention my gears sound like a 747 sitting on a runway...

I like my 4.10's, but If I had a 6.0 or larger I would have a set of 3.42's.I think 4.10's are too much for the larger motors, they have the torque to pull em off the line. smaller motor=shorter gear imo.
